Accessibility
Walter wants this site to work for everyone. If something doesn’t, please tell him.
Built-in options
Use the accessibility button (bottom-left of every page) to toggle:
- High contrast — increases foreground/background contrast for low-vision readers
- Reduce motion — disables transitions and smooth scrolling
- Highlight links — adds an outline to every link for keyboard-first users
- Text size — cycle through three sizes (A / A+ / A++)
- Theme — switch between light and dark
Preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage.
Standards
The site targets WCAG 2.2 AA. Semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, keyboard navigation, focus styles, color-contrast minimums, and a visible skip-to-content link are in place.
Known gaps
- The contact panel form fields rely on screen-reader association via
label[for], notaria-label. - Embedded PDF or video, if added later, will need separate captioning and alternate text.
